We are looking for a Solutions Consultant as technical presales support, an individual that will collaborate with the global presales community in preparing customer product demonstrations that reflect both the customers business needs, but also showcases Velotix’s platform from an innovation and thought leading perspective.
The candidate will work closely with the sales team in order to gain a strong understanding of the customers’ technical/functional/business needs, effectively implementing and maintaining a library of demonstration assets that reflect both current capability and short term roadmap. Additionally, you will be accountable for the import and administration of all data assets, that allow the product to be shown with depth and substance.
The candidate will collaborate with R&D team, to understand product roadmap and vision, and implement the necessary assets to support the global field presales teams to drive outstanding product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and solutions. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and pain points. Conduct in-depth discussions with potential customers to uncover their technical challenges.
- Solution Design: Work closely with the sales team to design and propose technical solutions that address customer needs. Tailor solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure proposed demo assets reflect current and future capabilities.
- Demo Implementation and maintenance: Assist with the technical aspects of demo environment implementation, including troubleshooting, customization, and optimization with the goal of omptimising the demo assets.
- Training and Documentation: Provide regular updates on demo assets and create documentation for customers, partners and internal teams on solution configurations and best practices.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): If necessary, assist and manage proof of concept projects to validate the proposed solutions and demonstrate platform effectiveness.
- Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to recommend improvements to products and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology).
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role for at least 3 years
- Strong technical knowledge in Data Governance and Data Privacy is preferable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and confidence with visual prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, InVision)
- A basic understanding of project management related skills is preferable
