We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment with market needs and customer requirements. You will report directly to the VP Product.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager with a strong background in product marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of our products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and refine the product vision and strategy in line with market trends and customer feedback. Stay abreast of industry advancements to drive innovation within Velotix’s product portfolio.
- Customer Insights: Partner with sales and marketing teams to gather insights into customer needs and pain points. Conduct market research and engage with customers to understand their evolving requirements.
- Roadmap Planning: Work closely with R&D teams to translate market insights into actionable product features and enhancements. Define and prioritize the product roadmap to deliver maximum value to our customers.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives. Champion a customer-centric approach across all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Feature Development: Lead the ideation, design, and development of new product features. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology).
- Proven experience in product management or related roles, with a minimum of 3 years in B2B software
- Experience working with various database technologies. Database administration/security is a plus
- Experience managing security products or IT operations products is a plus
- Strong understanding of data governance and privacy regulations is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self learner – ability to independently learn new technologies
- Past coding experience is a plus
