Senior Account Executive New Business

Location – US, East Coast

Velotix introduces a revolutionary AI-driven data security platform designed to not only mitigate risks but also streamline policy management at scale, empowering organizations to confidently navigate the complexities of data governance.

We are looking for a New Business Account Executive (AE) – a tenacious individual with substantial drive and enthusiasm – who wants to work at the cutting edge of the data security industry. 

As a Senior AE, you will work closely with the leadership team to drive revenue growth by providing consultative guidance, high level product overviews and drive general brand awareness. Your role is instrumental in building; trusted customer relationships, and a qualified pipeline of legitimacy and substance…you are effectively entrusted with building this very critical market for Velotix, as such we will hire very carefully…be that person!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define sales strategies and territory plans by working collaboratively with the sales and marketing leadership
  • Execute customer-centric meetings, presentations and product demonstrations (if that’s what you like and are technically minded) both virtually and in person with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Develop high impact proposals with Solution Consulting which articulate Velotix’s differentiated solution, market leading agenda & unique value based on AI, and soon Gen AI
  • Manage and support all aspects of the lead to close process
  • Build and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Manage and document sales pipeline including forecasts, prospect details, current opportunities and future planned activities
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to share information, expertise and market feedback
  • Work with the Alliances and Channels leadership to develop and nurture partner relationships to facilitate and foster stronger sales engagements with prospects – allowing scale at pace
  • Curating value engineering exercises in line with the customers ‘north star’ narrative – articulating Velotix business value in the customers language – through their lens
  • To facilitate/lay the foundations for 6-digit enterprise ARR transactions
  • Competition: pro-actively develop a robust understanding of the competitive landscape, building, documenting and sharing this information within the company
  • To work closely with Marketing and Business Development to drive regional brand awareness and pipeline generation

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience selling into one of the following areas is highly beneficial: Financial Services, AI, Machine Learning, data governance, Reporting and Analytics, Database Technology and data management tools
  • 5+ years experience with enterprise solution selling
  • Sales experience in or in-depth knowledge of enterprise software and services
  • Ability to work both independently and remotely, and as a part of the Velotix team
  • Evidence strong sales lifecycle cadence and execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology).
  • Proven experience and track record in new business and prospecting
  • Strong technical knowledge of the company’s industry is preferable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Customer-focused and able to build strong relationships.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (if applicable).
  • Knowledge of relevant technology architecture related to data management
  • The ability to orchestrate ‘value engineering’ exercises – taking the customers business problem, overlaying Velotix solutions and thereby determining the value of our solution adoption
  • Based on the East Coast of USA
